A true angel that walked on earth, Jacqueline Murphy, passed away peacefully on Thursday, November 14 2013. A daughter, wife, mother, godmother, aunt, and friend to all, she will be missed and mourned forever.

Born on April 23, 1934 in East Chicago, Indiana to James & Velma Feeney and godparents Tom Feeney Sr. and Maryellen Feeney, and a 1952 graduate of Bishop Noll high school in Hammond, Indiana. She worked as a secretary for Hammond Valve from 1952-1955, then became an executive office manager for Keen Foundry in Griffith, Indiana from 1956-1966, until she had children. Her 2 surviving children are Sharon Elizabeth of Las Vegas, Nevada and Patrick Michael of Griffith, Indiana.

She is preceded in death by her parents James Patrick Feeney in 1989 and her mother Velma Feeney in 2000 as well as her brother Patrick Feeney in 1967. She is survived by her 1 brother William, numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and dear friends from the Atlantic to the Pacific. She was "mom" to numerous of her children's friends.

Always accepting of others, always smiling, always encouraging, her light will be shining forever in hearts that will never be the same without her.

The highlight of her life was raising Sharon & Patrick as a single mother, putting them thru private high school and 4 years of college, then sharing their life. The past 25 years, she and her daughter have travelled extensively, finding their happiness from a Hawaiian beach to the shores of Cape Cod, Mass.

Funeral service will be held on Monday November 18, 2013 at 10:00am Directly at St. Mary Catholic Church in Griffith with Fr. Theodore Mens Celebrating.

Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday Nov. 17, from 3:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue Griffith.

There will be an evening Wake Service on Sunday at 7:30 pm.
