Ivey Vance Ragin, age 85 of Griffith, Indiana passed away on Wednesday, April 1, 2015.

He is survived by his children: Michael (Kathy) Ragin of South Carolina, Dennis Ragin of Griffith, Indiana and Evonne (Tom) Derucki of  Mammoth  Cave, Kentucky,  10 grandchildren and many great grandchildren, sisters: Tina (Ted) Brandmayr of Lowell, Indiana and Betty Quinn of Florida.

Ivey is preceded in death by his wife: Gail Marie Ragin, parents: William and Verna Ragin, brothers: Bill, Jay and Bob

Funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 4 at 5:00pm, at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith, Indiana with Pastor Shawn Cornett officiating.

Burial will be at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, IL.

Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, April 4, from 1-5:00pm at White Funeral Home.

Ivey was a Veteran of the US Army and was retired from Acme Steel.
