Helen C. Lakatos age 94 of Griffith passed away on Thursday, May 8, 2014.

She is survived by her daughters: Virginia (Dennis) Guse,

Susan (Gifford) Robinette

Granddaughter: Michelle (P.K.) Das

Great Granddaughters the love of her life Katie and Kristen Das

Preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Susan Chomo, Husband Stephen J. Lakatos, son Stephen R., brothers Joseph and Paul, sisters Pearl and Susan.

Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, May 13, 2014 at 10:00am at

Faith United Church of Christ in Hammond

With Rev. Joan Mier officiating

Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Hammond

Friends may meet with the family on Monday, May 12 from 4:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue Griffith.

Helen was a member of Faith United Church of Christ, Ladies Aides Society and Pioneers Club.

She enjoyed cooking, needle work, and spending time with her family and taking care of her pets.

Memorials may be given to Faith United Church of Christ or the Griffith Animal Shelter.
