Hattie M. Obremski age 86 of Hammond, IN passed away on Sunday, December 22, 2013.

She is survived by her sister: Helen (Dan) Briski of Griffith, nieces Nancy (David) Ranich and Debbie Briski; nephew Larry (Mary) Briski; 6 great nephews; 4 great nieces and 8 great great nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her father Zachary Obremski; mother Bessie (Alex) Czajkowski; and by her nephews: Danny Briski, and David (Sue) Briski.

Funeral service will be held on Friday, December 27, 2013, at 10:00a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church located at 525 N. Broad St. in Griffith, IN, with Fr. Theodore Mens celebrating. Burial will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery, in Calumet City, IL.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, December 26, 2013, from 4p.m. until 8p.m. at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W, 45th Ave. in Griffith, IN. On Friday morning a one hour visitation will be held from 9a.m. until time of service at St. Mary Catholic Church.

Hattie was a member of St. Casmir Catholic Church in East Chicago.

Memorials may be given to St. Anthony Hospice at 203 Franciscan Drive, in Crown Point, IN.
