Harold L. Wilhite age 88 of Schererville, IN passed away on Monday February 20, 2017.

He is survived by his loving wife of 64 years Arvella;

Children: Gail (Tom) Linman of Lowell, IN, Ron (Cathy) of Appleton, WI, Bob (Margie) of Vancleave, MS, Roger (Amy) of Highland, IN, many grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren;

Brother Verner (Lola) of Raytown, MO

Harold was preceded in death by his parents George and Beulah Wilhite, sister Margaret, and granddaughter Ashley.

Funeral services will be held on Friday February 24. 2017 at 7:00 pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith with Rev. James Williams officiating.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday February 24, 2017 from 3-7:00 pm at White Funeral Home.

Harold was retired owner of Highland Shell Gas Station,  45th and Indianapolis Blvd. in Highland.  He was a Veteran of the Army Air Corp.  Harold was a true craftsman, who would plan and make his ideas come to life.
