GUY M. WIMAN GRIFFITH, IN Guy M. Wiman, age 95 of Griffith, passed away on September 3, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 27years, Pat; son, Dennis (Lisa) Wiman; step children: William Allen, Susan (Ivan) Chermel, Linda Saturday and Joanne (Steve) Tomczak; daughter-in-law, Beverly Wiman; grandchildren: Mark, Craig, Brett, Brian, Michael and Rick; step grandchildren: Natalie, Matthew, Amanda, Quinn and Nathan; and six great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents: Charlie and Ruth Wiman; first wife, Ramona; and by his son, Edward. Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 5, 2011 at 12:00 Noon at Ridge United Methodist Church, 8607 Columbia Ave. in Munster with Pastor Nathan Whybrew officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, September 5th from 10:00 a.m. until the time of services at Ridge United Methodist Church in Munster. Guy was a member of the Ridge United Methodist Church, Griffith Swinging Seniors, Friends of the Library, Munster Park Dept. (Keenagers), and the Northwest Indiana Concert Association. Guy was retired from Union Tank, and he loved camping and woodworking. He also served three years with the CCC Camp, when he was younger.
