GUADALUPE T. MUNDO SUNRISE MARCH 8, 1923 SUNSET JULY 29, 2012 Guadalupe entered into her eternal rest July 29, 2012 after a long illness at Munster Med-Inn. She was born in Fort Worth, TX. She is survived by one sister, Tina Baez. She is also survived by her children: Mary Yolanda "Linda" (Arthur) Martinez, Mary Magdalene Lafferty, and Robert Gabriel Mundo; grandchildren: Leslie, Mark, Adam Martinez, and Christine Mundo. Preceded in death by parents: Gabriel and Frances Torres; husband, Henry T. Mundo; brothers: John and Salvador; and sisters: Jolinda, Gloria, and Theresa.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, August 3, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. DIRECTLY at St Mary Catholic Church, 525 N. Broad St. in Griffith with Fr.Theodore Mens celebrating. Cremation will follow the services.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday August 2, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith. There will be an evening wake service at 7:30 p.m. on Thursday. Her special calling in life was to be a "Mama" and a wonderful cook first for her brothers and sisters and later to her children, the ultimate joy in her life, her grandchildren and along the way also her nieces, nephews, and special cousins children. She will leave quite a few hurting hearts to those who loved her, and will miss her for a very long time. We extend many blessings to the beautiful staff at Munster Med-Inn who took such wonderful care of Mama. There are truly angels among us.
