George J. Kirincic, age 87, of Highland IN passed away on Saturday, May 13th, 2017. He is survived by his wife of 58 years, Mira.  Loving father of Helen (Ken) Stancik and David (Stacy) Kirincic.  Cherished grandfather of Samantha, Stefanie, Sarah, Joshua and Owen.  George is survived by his siblings Jana Vukin and brother Steve (Kata) Kirincic as well as many nieces and nephews.  George is preceded in death by his son Georgie, parents Mirko & Jela and siblings Franja, Iva, Kata, Mara, Ljuba,

Friends and family are invited to visit Saturday May 20th, 2017 from 9:00 am–11:00 am at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith followed by the burial ceremony at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillivlle.

George was a proud grandfather who never missed his grandchildren's events.  Together with his wife, he brought over 30 relatives to the United States so they could enjoy the opportunities he had.  He was employed at Inland Steel and participated in Inland Steel Retiree events.
