FRED E. SEBERGER GRIFFITH, IN Fred E. Seberger, age 85 of Griffith, passed away on Saturday, August 4, 2012. He is survived by his children: Debbie (Kurt) Gouwens, Donna Seberger, Darlene (Terry) Williams and David (Lori) Seberger; grandchildren: Keith (Jeannie), Kelly, and Kevin Gouwens, James and Matthew Williams, and Elizabeth and Abbey Seberger; sister, Marie (Ed) Govert; and sisters-in-law: Laverne Seberger and Jeanette Seberger. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jean; parents: Fred and Anna; brothers: Ralph, Leonard, Rev. Kenneth, Carl, Robert and Harold; and by his sisters: Lucille and Genevieve. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, August 8, 2012 at 10:00 a.m. Directly at St. Mary Catholic Church located at 525 N. Broad St. in Griffith with Fr. Theodore Mens Celebrating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday, August 7, 2012 from 4:00-8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home located at 912 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith. There will be an afternoon Wake service at 4:30 p.m. Fred was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and the Catholic Order of Foresters. He was a WWII Marine Veteran and he retired from the Teamsters Union Local #142. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Hospice of the Calumet Area.
