Frank D. Church age 67 of Griffith, passed away on Friday October 18, 2013. He is survived by his wife of 46 years: Sheila, children Scott (Mindi) Church of Valparaiso and Stefanie (Michael) Copp of Griffith; grandchildren Breanne and Gregory Copp and Bradley Church; siblings Brenda Cox, Larry (Peggy) Church, Maureen (Ray) Hoskins, and Judy (Bob) Farrar. Frank is also survived by his many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents William and Ruth Church and by his special canine friend Tyler. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 22, 2013 at 7:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. with Rev. James Williams officiating. Cremation will follow services. Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday October 22nd from 3-7:00pm at White Funeral Home. Frank was a Navy Veteran. He retired from LTV Steel and he enjoyed watching Griffith Girls Softball, cars, Harleys, and spending time with his grandkids. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
