FLOYD K. STROHMEYER LANSING, IL Floyd K. Strohmeyer, age 90, of Lansing, IL passed away on Saturday January 11, 2014. He is survived by his children: Sharon LaFlech of Highland, Larry (Sandra) Strohmeyer of Lansing, Patty (Skip) Carnett of Highland; 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and by his brother, Wayne Strohmeyer of CO. Preceded in death by his parents: Marion and Grace; wife, Norma; and sons: David and Bob. A memorial service will be held on Saturday January 18, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. at First Presbyterian Church, 8737 Delaware St. in Highland with Pastor Laura Reason Officiating. Floyd was a member of Community Presbyterian Church in Calumet City, IL and a member of Teamster Local #142. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.
