Fernando Mosqueda age 66 of Gary passed away on Friday September 24, 2021.

He is survived by his wife Rosa Irma M; children Marcos Mosqueda, Nichole (Francisco Lopez) Mosqueda, Emmanuel (Jo-Anna Villarreal) Mosqueda, Marissa (Ruben Arriola) Mosqueda, Norma Mosqueda, Eduardo (Savanna Villarreal) Mosqueda, Jose' Mosqueda, Sergio (Paloma Villarreal) Mosqueda and by his numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews, his mother Rafaela Mosqueda, sister Maria De Los Angeles Becerra.

He is preceded in death by his father Enrique Cruz, son Jaime and by his brother Leoncio G. Mosqueda.

Funeral services will be on Friday October 8, 2021, at 1:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. (Glen Park Ave.) in Griffith. Burial will follow at Oak Hill Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday October 8, 2021, from 10:00 a.m.-1:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home.

Fernando was a retired Crane Operator from Inland Steel after 42 years. He loved riding his motorcycle and spending time in his garage working on cars and trucks. Every day was special to Fernando, always taking the time to surprise his wife. Fernando enjoyed spending his time grilling out and making sure everyone was served before himself. Fernando was a noble and kind man who was always there when you needed him.
