Eva "Effe" M. Perez age 82 passed away Friday, January 07, 2021.

She is survived by her brother Helmuth Dankesreiter of Germany; sister Regina Kreusel of Germany; niece Stefani Kreusel; sisters-in-law; Sandy (Syl) Puclik, Betty (Chuck) Mueller, Judy (John) Sreniawski, Patty (Joe) Mora, Marilyn Perez, Karen (Jose) Quintero and Denise (Noreen) Perez, Brothers-in-law; Rich Perez, Marty (Lenny) Perez, Mike (Susie) Perez, Joe Perez, and Mark (Eva) Perez.

She is preceded in death by her husband Anthony "Tony" Perez, parents Yohamm Dankesreiter and Maria Margaret Yoehnit.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday January 19, 2022, at 10:00 a.m. St. Mary Catholic Church 525 N. Broad Street Griffith, IN with Father Keith Virus celebrating. Burial will follow at Saint John- Saint Joseph Cemetery in Hammond, Indiana.

Eva was born in Germany on January 14, 1939. After coming to America, she met the love of her life Tony. They were together for over 50 years. She was a homebody who enjoyed cooking, especially for Tony. She cherished the times she was able to travel to Germany to see her beloved family. She adored her pet dogs and cats who she treated like her children. Eva enjoyed gardening, yard work and riding her mower.
