Eugene J. Pazdur, age 60, of Hammond, IN passed away Sunday, August 19, 2012 at home surrounded by his caring wife of 31 years, children and loved ones. He is survived by his wife, Jan (nee Allen) M. Pazdur; two children, son, Eugene J.A. Pazdur (Anne Akers); daughter, Melissa (Carlos) Gallegos; loving granddaughter, Gabriella Gallegos; siblings: Kathleen (Victor) Musenbrock, Kenneth (Christine) Pazdur, Pamela (Joseph) Zalewski, Dorothy Rene (David) Robertson and Cynthia (Terry) Thompson; dearest sister-in-law, Andrea Allen Fetzko; sister-in-law, Karen Pazdur; and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents: Joseph and Dorothy Pazdur; and by his brother, Andrew Pazdur. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, August 23, 2012 at 11:00 a.m. at White Funeral Home with Rev. Donna J. Beifuss officiating. Burial will follow. Friends may meet with the family Wednesday August 22nd, from 3:00- 8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home, Located at 921 W. 45th Ave. Griffith, IN. Eugene was a U.S. Army veteran. He worked at IHB Rail Road and was the former owner of Pazdur Plumbing. Eugene was known for his humor, love of music, boating in Monticello, four wheeling, barbecuing, smoking meats, and spending time with family. Eugene was a very loving and giving person who gave freely of his time and talent. He will be dearly missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the family.
