Ernest Rico Sr. age 79 of Griffith, passed away on Thursday December 2, 2010.

He is survived by his wife of 61 years: Sally

Preceded in death by his parents Mario and Hermila, and by his son Ricardo.

Funeral services will be held on Monday December 6, 2010 at 10:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church with Fr. Theodore Mens celebrating. Cremation will follow services, inurnment will be in St. John/ St. Joseph Catholic Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends may meet with family on Sunday December 5 ^th from 4:00-8:00pm at the White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave. in Griffith.

Ernest was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church and he was retired from Inland Steel. He was a member of Local #1010, the VFW # 508 in East Chicago, and he was also an avid bowler.
