Elida Rosales, age 75, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away on Friday, October 2, 2026.
Elida is survived by her daughter, Krystal (Carl) Gamez; grandchildren, Adela “Addie”, Dwight “DJ”, Charlotte “Charley”, Xavier, Phoebe, Zoe; great-granddaughter, Ruby; Loving sisters Alicia (Leonard) Czaplewski; Antonia (Ramiro) Salazar; and brother Lorenzo Garza.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Jose and Adela Rosales; Preceded in death by Jose Antonio and Alfredo Rosales; and Aminta Williams, Maria Gloria Camarena, Jose Santos, Manfredo, Saul, and Joseph Caesar Garza.
Elida retired from South Shore Hospital. She loved bowling and fishing.
A Celebration of Elida’s Life will be held at a later date. Interment will be private.
