Eleanor Margaret (nee Paul) Hindahl age 89 of Highland passed away on Monday, March 14, 2016.

She is survived by her children; John (Kim) Hindahl, JoEllen Pilipow, Janet (Jeff) Csonka. Grandchildren; Deborah (Mark) Pittelli, Lauren (Trent) Fulgraff, Christopher Pilipow, Melissa (Brad) Griffin and Matthew Csonka; great grandchildren Ryan, Nicholas and Dani, many nieces, nephews.

Preceded in death by her husband of 49 years Joseph Hindahl, sister Jeanette Banks, brothers Fred and Ray Paul.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 18 ^th , 2016 at 10:00am at Griffith Lutheran Church located at 1000 N. Broad Street in Griffith with Pastor Freda Scales officiating. There will be a visitation from 9am-10am, before service. Burial will follow at Concordia Lutheran Cemetery in Hammond.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday March 17 ^th from 4:00pm-7:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue in Griffith.

Eleanor graduated from Hammond Tech High School in 1942. She worked for Fred C. Rowley & Sons prior to having children. She was a member of Griffith Lutheran Church where she was very active in past years with the altar guild, the GLCW, Ladies Mission Group and fellowship committee. She loved making Sunday dinner every Sunday for the whole family.

Memorials may be given to the Griffith Lutheran Church in her memory.
