Eleanor Writt Gray age 92 of Highland passed away on Thursday, January 15, 2015

She is survived her children Anita (David) Taylor, Judy Gordon, Cynthia (Richard) Whitmore, Toni Frye, Patrick (Judy) Writt, Michael (Deborah) Writt, Christopher (Dierdra) Writt, stepson: William (Margaret) Writt.

Loving grandmother of  27 grandchildren, 52 great grandchildren, 14 great great grandchildren and  sister June Petereson.

Preceded in death by her parents Edward and Ruth Hayes, first husband Roland M. Writt, second Bobby Gray sisters: Rachel and Edith, son-in-law Jim Gordon, Walter Frye, Thomas Graham.

Funeral Services will be held Saturday, January 17 ^th at 3:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue Griffith with Pastor Orlando Soler officiating.

Burial will be private at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond

Friends may meet with the family on Friday, January 16 ^th from 4-8:00 PM at White Funeral Home.

Eleanor was a member of the East Chicago Order of the Moose, Women's Auxiliary  where she held many offices.  She loved sewing, dancing, crocheting and music.

In lieu of flowers memorial to the Alzheimer's [FO1] Association would be appreciated.
