Elainea Gholston was born in Chicago, Illinois on August 9, 1955, born to Bruce and the late Verda Mae Gholston. She departed from this life on February 2, 2024. Elainea was blessed with three children Nakia, Charles Jr. and Maryia. Elainea's faith in the Lord was fostered at an early age. She was a member of Grace Church and loved to sing in the choir. Elainea was a very spirited and a driven person.

Elainea went to be with our Lord and Savior on Friday, February 2, 2024. The love and memories of Elainea will forever be cherished by her father Bruce Sr. (Nadeen), her siblings: Bruce Jr. (Lisa), James, Victor (Barbara), both Lisa and Robert who preceded her in death. Children: Nakia (Angelo), Charles Jr., and Maryia. Grandchildren: Juanita, Angelica, Sofia, Caroline, and Carlos.

Her memory will also continue through the hearts of a host of other relatives, loved ones and friends.

Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 16, 2024, from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. Glen Park (45th) Ave. Griffith, Indiana 46319 with Pastor Ryan Smith officiating.
