Edith S. Petras age 82 of Hammond, passed away on Saturday August 11, 2018. She is survived by her husband of 42 years Perry; daughters  Deborah"Peanut" Hedrick, Diana (Lalo) Gonzalez and Angela"Kay Kay" Troutwine;  22 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren; sister Susie (Jack) Oliver; brothers James (Brenda) Halcomb and Buster (Julie) Halcomb, and by her numerous nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents Monroe and Carrie Halcomb; daughter Mary K., and by her sons Richard and Billy Williams. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday August 18, 2018 from 10:00am until the time of the memorial service at Lake Hills Baptist Church located at 9209 W. 85th Ave. in Schererville, Indiana. Memorial services will be held on Saturday August 18, 2018 at 11:00am at Lake Hills Baptist Church with Pastor Phil Humber officiating. Edith was the owner of Verona Pizza in Hammond, Indiana.
