Douglas S. Hensley age 71 of Schererville, IN, passed away on Tuesday October 29, 2013.

He is survived by his son: Dan Hensley of Las Vegas; grandchildren: Alexandria Hensley, of Texas, Timothy Hensley of Las Vegas; siblings: Gertrude Ann (late Gene) Kingston of Highland, Jerry (Eileen) Hensley of Highland, Mary Dooley (late Charles) of Highland, and numerous nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents Fred and Velva Hensley, and brother, Fred Jr.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday November 2, 2013 at 7:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave. with Fr. Edward Moszur officiating. Cremation will follow services.

Friends may meet with the family on Saturday November 2 ^nd from 3:00pm until time of service at White Funeral Home.

Douglas was employed by the Lake County Assessor's Office. He was an Avid golfer and enjoyed watching sports on T.V.

He Graduated from Bishop Noll in 1960 and Indiana Unversity in 1964.
