Dorothy R. Waldron age 87 of Portage, formerly of Griffith passed away on

Thursday September 5, 2013.

She is survived by her children: Gary (Betty) Waldron of Highland

Daryl Waldron of Ft. White, FL.

LaDonna (Hank) Schmell of Liberty, MO.

Shauna Hartman of Hobart

13 grandchildren and 24 great grandchildren

Siblings: Daisy Reeves of Charleston, MO.

Donald (Annette) Robertson of Charleston, MO

Randall (Carol) Robertson of Wycliffe, KY

Sister-in-law: Allene McCutchen of Charleston, MO

Numerous nieces, nephews. Old time Friends & neighbors.

Preceded in death by her parents Earl and  Mary Robertson, husband Jethro Waldron, and son Leslie, grandson Kevin, daughter-in-law Rebecca brother Lindell, sisters Roma Sue, and Hattie Mae.

Funeral service will be held Monday September 9, 2013 at 10:00am at

First Church of the Nazarene located at 9330 Kennedy Avenue, Highland Indiana

With Rev. Ron Richmond officiating

Burial to follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, Indiana

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, September 8, 2013 from 3:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith.

Dorothy was a member of First Church of the Nazarene of Highland where she taught Sunday school for many years.

She was dedicated to taking care of her family, her friends and making sure everything was taken care of.

She also enjoyed cooking and baking for everyone. Memorials may be given to the Alzheimer's Assoc.
