Donald F. Thiel age 67 of Lansing passed away on Saturday March 5, 2016.

He was the son of the late Paul and Belle Thiel. Best friend and devoted loving Toots (husband) of 46 years to wife Kristina Thiel. Greatest father and hero to daughters Jennifer (Bryan) Galocy and Nicole (Jeffry) O'Brien. Greatest Paga (Grandfather) to Emma, Jack, Joey and Ava. Loving brother to Joseph (Linda) Thiel and Brother from another mother to Mike (Michelle) Danielewicz, Glenn (Patty) King, Ronald (Fran) King, Dennis (Lydia) Danielewicz and he was a superstar Uncle to many nieces and nephews, and great friend to a few cousins. Amazing best buddy to his pooch Paris.

Funeral services will be held on Friday March 18, 2016 at 4:30pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue in Griffith with Father Patrick Kalich officiating.

Friends may meet with family on Friday March 18th, from 3:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home.

Toots was the family videographer and human GPS; a loyal fan of Da"Bears, despite their disappointments. A Lotto loving, family man who loved to joke around, but his most amazing quality was knowing he wouldn't let you down. An extremely kind and giving heart, a wise gentle soul; for sure the nicest guy we will ever know (you just had to ask!). Our hearts are with you forever.
