Donald W. Striker, age 78, of Valparaiso, passed away on Monday, July 27, 2026.
He is survived by his son, Jason Striker; sisters Judy Paradise, Ruth Ann (John) Butala, Barbara (Bob) Stolte, and along with several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Dorothy Striker, and sister, Paulette Geller.
Inurnment will take place at Abraham Lincoln National Cemetery in Elwood, Illinois.
Donald was an Army Veteran and retired from U.S. Steel. He was a member of the Midwest Sundowners R/C Flying Club and Living Hope Church in Merrillville, Indiana.
He enjoyed boating, fishing, and flying his airplane.
