DONALD E. HOCHSTETLER GRIFFITH, IN Donald E. Hochstetler, age 71, of Griffith passed away on Friday, October 22, 2010. He is survived by his loving wife, Geraldine; loving children: Deborah Schultz of Hobart, David Hochstetler, Darlene (Richard) Popovich, Doreen (William) Crook, Diane Hochstetler, Donna (Daniel) Burbridge, all of Griffith and Denise (Keith) Galocy of Morgan Hill, CA; 18 grandchildren; four great grandchildren; brother, Rick Hochstetler of Hammond; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his parents; granddaughters: Angela and Ashly Ivers; and by his sister, Phyllis Underwood. Funeral services will be held on Monday, October 25, 2010 at 7:00 PM at the White Funeral Home with Fr. Theodore Mens officiating. Burial will be on Tuesday, October 26, 2010 at 10:00 AM leaving from White Funeral Home going to Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville. Friends may meet with the family on Monday, October 25, 2010 from 2:00-7:00 PM at the White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith. Don was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church. He was retired from Sherwin-Williams. Don enjoyed spending time with his family and his K-9 buddies, traveling, listening to Dean Martin, collecting and watching old movies, and spending time in the great outdoors.
