Donald E. Davison age 85 of Highland, Indiana passed away peacefully at home on Tuesday November 21, 2017. He was born of parents Merle and Imogene (nee Foster) Davison and was raised in Hammond and was a 1950 graduate of Hammond High School. Don received his B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Purdue University in 1955 where he was a member of the Phi Sigma Kappa fraternity. In 1974, he received a M.S. degree in Business Administration from Indiana University. Don was drafted into the U.S. Army in 1955 and served until 1957. He worked at Inland Steel from 1950 to 1996. Don is survived by his sisters; Barbara (Jack) McDonald and Betty (Martin) Pisut.

His four loving children: Nancy (Steven) Cox, Sharon (Michael) Johnson, Carl (Joan) Davison, and John (Jessica) Davison.

grandchildren; Brian McCord, Elena (Alex) Troyer, Danielle Bates, Nathan Cox, Joshua Cox, Daniel (Melanie) Johnson, David (Marissa) Johnson, Julie (Evan) McClain, Kelly Johnson, Tyler Davison, Matthew Davison, Theo Davison and Petra Davison.

great grandchildren; Nolan Bates, Colten Troyer, Aldelyn Troyer, Matthew Johnson and Rebecca Johnson.

He was preceded in death by his parents Merle and Imogene Davison, wife Mary and numerous aunts and uncles.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, December 16, 2017 at 12 noon at WHITE FUNERAL HOME located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith with Pastor Linda Skaggs officiating.

Friends may meet with the family on Saturday December 16, 2017 from 11– 12 noon at WHITE FUNERAL HOME.
