Dennis W. Cable age 68, of Champaign, IL formerly of Lansing, IL  passed away on Thursday, September 3, 2015.

He is survived by his daughter Sara (fiancée Dustin Akin) Cable of Jacksonville, FL.

Siblings: Donald (Elaine) Cable of Huber Heights, Ohio, Debbie (Jim) Vliek of Munster, IN, Denise (Kenneth) Cheek-Matthys of Highland, IN. and several nieces and nephews.  Also survived by close f riends: Peggy Swanson of Champaign, IL and John Gough of Commerce Township, MI.

Memorial services will be held on Saturday, September 19, 2015 at 1:00 PM at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue, Griffith, IN. with Rev. Kerry Robinson officiating.

Friends may meet will the family on Saturday, September 19 ^th , 2015 from 11-1:00 pm at White Funeral Home.

Dennis was a graduate of Northern Illinois University, a Vietnam Army Veteran and he was retired from the University of Illinois in Champaign.

Memorials may be made to either the University of Illinois Athletic Activities for Students with Disabilities or AseraCare Hospice.
