Delores "Lolly" Schultz, Nee Mata

Entered in Eternal Life peacefully, at home, surrounded by her loving family. Lolly was full of life, a loving wife, mother, grandmother, sister, tia and friend. She fought a very courageous battle with cancers. She never gave up hope. She showed us all how to die with so much dignity and courage.

She is survived by her loving husband Jim of 28 years, Her loving sons: Robert "Bobby" (Amy) Ruiz of LaPorte, Stevie (Kristi) Ruiz of New Carlisle, loving daughter Belinda (Alfonso) Alvarez of Hammond, loving grandchildren: RJ Ruiz, Jordan Ruiz, Jayden Ruiz, Joshua Ruiz, Marisa Legault, Garret Ruiz, Brayden Ruiz, Aleyah and Abriel Alvarez, loving brothers: Joseph Mata Jr. of East Chicago, Ralph Mata of Merrillville, David Mata Sr. of East Chicago, loving sisters: Lupe (Tomas) Flores of Cedar Lake, Rosie (Fugi) Recio of Hammond, Rita (Mario) Rodriguez of Danville, Becky Ballard (Nick) of Gary, Marcella (Billy) Stafford of Wheatfield, Silvia (Jesse) Garza of Valparaiso, Lolly is also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary Mata in 1991, father, Joseph P. Mata in 1997, brothers: Raymond in 1992, Louie in 2006, and Harpo Mato in 2007.

Funeral services will be held on Thursday, May 16 ^th , 2013 at 10:00am at St. Joseph Cathloic Church located at 5304 Homan Ave. in Hammond, with Fr. Richard Orlinski Celebrating. Burial will follow at Elmwood Cemetery in Hammond, IN.

Friends may meet with the family on Wednesday, May 15th from 2:00pm until 8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 West 45th Ave. in Griffith, IN. Friends may also join the family directly at St. Joseph Church from 9:00am until time of service on Thursday May 16th, 2013.

Lolly will be dearly missed by all who knew and loved her so very much. She loved wearing leopard print clothing and jewelry. Lolly was such a loving, cheerful care free lady. She was always the first person to get up and start dancing at a dance. She was a great dancer. Her strength and courage during her illness was remarkable.
