DALE G. VECHEY CROWN POINT, IN Dale G. Vechey, age 52 of Crown Point, passed away on Wednesday March 9, 2011. He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Sue; children: Dan Vechey, Tom Vechey, and Katie Vechey; mother, Laverne Vechey of Munster; brothers: Phil (Becky) Vechey of Griffith and Paul Vechey of Seattle, WA; sister, Alison (Jeff) Kruze of Seattle, WA; mother-in-law, Arlyne (Alan) Filler of Highland; and numerous nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his father, Joseph. Funeral services will be held Sunday, March 13, 2011 at 2:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home , 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith, IN with Fr. Stephen Kosinski officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may meet with the family on Saturday, March 12, 2011 from 2:00-8:00 p.m. at the White Funeral Home . Dale was retired from Inland Steel and he was a member of Pheasant Valley Country Club. Dale was an avid golfer and he enjoyed fishing, cooking, and bowling.
