Cora "Sue" Stamper age 79 of Crown Point, IN. passed away on Friday February 14, 2020.

She is survived by her husband of 60 years Ken; daughters Laurie Kae Penman (Michael Schaefer), Lynda Lou (Fred) Brey, and Lisa Gaye (Charles) Gamblin: grandchildren Dylan (Amanda) Stamper, Bobbie Sue (Mike) Kvachkoff, Nick (Raeanna) Brey, Kurt (Fiancé Kendal) Brey, Lauren (Ricky) Rodriguez, Trent Brey, and Steven Gamblin; great-grandchildren Brianna, Olivia, Amelia, Zeke, Axel, Amara, and Charlie; sisters Doris Devous and Connie (Johnny) Fisher; and by her several nieces and nephews.

Cora was preceded in death by her parents Ira and Elsie Sharpe and her siblings Theron Sharpe, Eva Spiller, and Glen Sharpe.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 22, 2020 at 10:00 AM at WHITE FUNERAL HOME located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.), in Griffith with Keith Prather officiating. Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Schererville. Friends may meet with the family on Friday February 21, 2020 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at WHITE FUNERAL HOME.

Cora enjoyed crafting and sewing. She was a former Flower Show Superintendent for the Lake County Agriculture Society during the Lake County Fair. She was a former 4-H leader and mother who was very active in the Horse Show community. Cora was also her grandkids biggest fan and cheerleader attending almost every event of theirs. She also loved spending time with her family and friends.
