Christopher Arroyo, a cherished soul who touched many with his sense of humor and open heart, passed away unexpectedly on Sunday, August 30th, 2026, at the age of 38. Born on February 15th, 1988, in Indiana, Christopher brought warmth and joy into the lives of all who had the privilege of knowing him.
Christopher was the beloved son of Hector and the late Cathy Arroyo. His father, Hector Arroyo, survives him along with his siblings Kimberley and Daniel (Victoria). Though Christopher did not have children of his own, he was a loving uncle and a guiding light to those in his family and beyond.
Christopher was also blessed with a bonus family who held a special place in his heart: AnnMarie and Robert Keene, and their daughters, Haylie & Emma, and grandchildren Andrew and Joey. Over the years, they became much more than friends-they became family and Andrew was truly the light of his life.
A proud graduate of Calumet High School, class of 2006, Christopher was known for his quick wit and warm smile. He possessed a natural ability to connect with everyone he met, making each interaction memorable and meaningful. His engaging conversations and effortless sense of humor made him a joy to be around, leaving a lasting impression on all who crossed his path.
Christopher's unexpected passing leaves a void in the hearts of many, but his spirit will live on in the stories shared and the laughter he inspired.
Family and friends are invited to gather in remembrance of Christopher at White Funeral Home on Friday, September 4th, 2026, from 2:00pm until 7:00pm, with a funeral service officiated by Andrew Cavazos beginning at 7:00pm.
In lieu of flowers, the family kindly asks that donations be made to the NWI Down Syndrome Association, an organization that held a special place in his heart.
