CHARLOTTE M. COWSER GRIFFITH, IN Charlotte M. Cowser, age 73 of Griffith, passed away on Saturday, April 30, 2011. She is survived by her husband of 53 years, James; children: Tammy Cowser (fiancée, Ronnie Prestamer) and Missy (Darrel) Doctor; grand daughters: Elissa, Brandi, Addison, Ashley and Brittany; and sister, Dot Simmons. Preceded in death by her parents: Clarence and Lilly Finchum; brother, Kenneth; and twin sisters: Lillie Dean and Ernestine. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, May 4, 2011 at 10:00 a.m. at White Funeral Home with Rev. James Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN. Friends my meet with the family on Tuesday, May 3rd from 3:00 p.m.- 8:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue, Griffith. Charlotte was secretary for Cowser Concrete . She was a life member and former President of Griffith VFW Ladies Auxiliary and the American Legion Auxiliary.
