CARL R. CRAIN GRIFFITH, IN Carl R. Crain, age 75, of Griffith, passed away Wednesday, October 20, 2010. He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Edith; children: Randy Crain, Tammy Herron and Steve Crain all of Griffith; grandchildren: Colleen Herron and Brian DeLach; brother, Shelton Crain; sisters: Wilda (Butch) Bufkin, Mary Borde, Wilene (Dennis) Adams, Nella Corken, Ruth Kennedy and Vera Kennedy all of Louisiana. Also survived by his four legged friends: Roxy and Prancer. Preceded in death by his parents: Robert and Lutie Crain; son, Tommy; sisters: Agnes, Verdie and Patsy; and brother, Wilson. Funeral services will be held Monday, October 25, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at the White Funeral Home , 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith, IN with Rev. Allen Williams officiating. Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville. Friends may meet with the family on Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 3:00- 9:00 p.m. at White Funeral Home . Carl attended Living Hope Church. He was retired from Roadway Trucking after 25 years of service. Carl graduated from Pine High School in Pine, LA.
