Carey Gene "Bonz"  Bonzani age 53 of Griffith  passed away on Thursday September

5, 2013

He is survived by his wife of 14 years Patty

Son: Patrick Bonzani of Valparaiso

Stepson: Miles Collins of Griffith

Brothers Keith (Beth) Bonzani of Chicago

Brian Bonzani of Valparaiso

Sister: Lori (Scott) Kiaurakis of Valparaiso

Nephews: Nathan, Daniel, and Chadd

Nieces: Candice and Ashley

Great Niece: Mia

Four legged friend Chica

Preceded in death by his parents David and Barbara Bonzani, and by his sister Kimberly White.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday September 11, at 10:00am at

First United Methodist Church in Griffith

With Rev. Dr. Randy McQueen officiating

Burial will follow at Abe Lincoln National Cemetery in Illinois

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday September 10, from 3:00pm-8:00pm

At White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue Griffith.

Carey was a Navy veteran  serving on the USS Nimitz and a member of the

First United Methodist Church in Griffith. Also a member  of the

Griffith American Legion and Griffith VFW.

He was an avid Bears, Cubs, and Bulls fan.

He was a man of faith and he loved his country and flag.

In Honor of Carey please feel free to wear a sports team jersey  (Cubs, or Bears preferred ,No Sox).

In Lieu of flowers memorials may given to the disabled and paralyzed veterans Assoc.
