Burros "Truman" Ward age 80 of Griffith passed away on

Thursday November 3, 2011.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years Thelma

Daughter: Lonie (Bill) Rich of Hebron

4 Grandchildren: Angela (Mike) Wickstrom

Teresa (Doug) Cox

Jimmy (Deanne) Ewen

Kelly Ewen

7 great grandchildren: Megan, Makenzie, Joseph, Kaitlin, Michael, Katrina and

Jimmy

2 brothers: Wayne ( Nina) Ward

Jim (Showko) Ward

Niece: Patsy (Dan) Panozzo

And many other Family and friends.

Preceded in death by his parents Roscoe and Owen Ward.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday November 7, 2011 at

10:00am at the White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue

In Griffith

Burial will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery in Schererville

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday November 6, 2011

from 2:00pm-4pm and 6:00pm-8pm at White Funeral Home.

Truman was a Marine Veteran, member of the Griffith

American Legion Post 66, and the DAV Chapter 17 in Hammond

He was also retired from LTV Steel after 27 years.
