Bobby V. Aldridge age 79 of Griffith, passed away peacefully on Friday March 17, 2017 surrounded by his family.

Bobby is survived by his wife of 58 years Geraldine "Gerry"; sons John Aldridge, Eric (Donita) Aldridge, and Darren (Debbie) Aldridge; grandchildren Brittany, Tawnya, Tyler, Nick, Hannah, and Kylee; great grandchildren Lexie and Kylie; brother Dennis (Claudette) Breen. He was preceded in death by his parents Everett and Daisy, Brother Larry York, and by his sister Shirley Ellis.

Funeral services will be held on Monday March 20, 2017 at 11:00am at White Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Martinez officiating. Cremation will follow the services. Inurnment will be at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends may meet with the family on Monday March 20th from 10:00am until the time of services at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith

Bobby was an Army Veteran and he was retired from Bethlehem Steel (Mechanical Millwright). Bobby was also a member of the Griffith Masonic Lodge #735, South Bend Orak Shrine, and he was a 32 degree Mason.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Opportunity Enterprises in Valparaiso, IN.
