Billy Fay Williams, 70, of Hammond, Indiana passed away peacefully Friday, May 3, 2013. He is survived by Mary, his wife of 38 years; his brother, Orville; children Alan, Greg, Timothy and Rachel; grandchildren, Josiah, Audrey, and Michaela Bousum, and Jude Williams. Billy was preceded in death by his parents, Orville and Elizabeth Williams of Montezuma, KS. The wake is Wednesday, May 8, from 5-8pm at White Funeral Home , 921 W. 45th Ave., Griffith, IN. Funeral services are Thursday, May 9, at The King's Community Church, 600 W. 162nd St., South Holland, IL. Visitation begins at 10am; the funeral service at 11am, with Pastor Pete Tassio officiating. Raised among the wheat fields of Kansas, Billy graduated from Kansas State University where he pledged Beta Theta Pi. He then graduated from Rhema Bible Training Center in Tulsa, OK, where he met Mary. Together they pastored in Hammond 1978-1991. Billy traveled to Europe, Central America, Philippines, and India passionately sharing the Word of God. Billy was a substitute teacher and driving instructor in Hammond 1993-2004. In recent years, Billy and Mary started ministering in Cook County Jail and other prisons where they are much beloved among the inmates. Billy was most happy surrounded by his family; his love will be missed but never forgotten. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to the King's Community Church.
