Betty R. Fowler age 78 of Griffith, passed away on Monday June 11, 2018 surrounded by her family.

She is survived by her son Craig (Sandy) Fowler; grandchildren Chad Fowler, Andy Fowler, Sarah Fowler, Kristina (Tim) King, and Steffany (John) Hauenstein; great grandchildren Andrea Fowler, Margaret and Chloe King, Maleah and Gabriel Johnson, and Isabella and Alexander Hauenstein. Betty was preceded in death by her parents Charles and Golda Park, husband Clark Fowler, son Charles, and by her sister Wanda Park.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday June 16, 2018 at 12 noon at the Highland First Church of the Nazarene located at 9330 Kennedy Avenue in Highland with Rev. Ron Richmond officiating. Burial will take place at Macedonia Cemetery in Macedonia, Illinois.

Friends may meet with the family on Saturday June 16th from 10:00am until the time of services DIRECTLY at the Highland First Church of the Nazarene.

Betty was employed at Omega Steel in Griffith. She was the owner of Smitty's Tree Service, and Betty loved baking her delicious homemade bread for family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to the Highland First Church of the Nazarene.
