Bert Baccino age 91 of Griffith passed away on Saturday November 5, 2016.

He is survived by his sons: Leonard (Debbie) Baccino, Mark Baccino, Greg (Joyce) Baccino, Jim (Sherry) Baccino and Bert (Michelle) Baccino; 17 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren;

Siblings: Jim (Phyllis) Baccino, Marie Sexton, Frank Baccino and John (Cathy) Baccino;

Bert was preceded in death by his wife JoAnn, son Paul, grandson Joseph, brothers Joe, Sam and by his sister Ann.

Services will be private.

Bert was a WWII Navy Veteran and was a member of the Griffith VFW, American Legion Post 180. He was retired from Sinclair/Amoco after 42years.  Bert was an avid bird watcher, gardener, hunter, fisherman and very involved with Nature Conservancy.

Memorials may be given to The Lake County Parks and Recreation Department in Bert's memory.
