Barbara S. Harkins age 69 of Griffith passed away on Wednesday December 28, 2016.

She is survived by her daughter: Jamee (Todd) Queen; grandchildren: Evan, Madelynn and Lauren

Twin sister Bonnie Hirsch, sister Deborah (late Jeffrey)  Gross, brother Kevin (Brian) Hirsch

Sisters-in-law Carol (Bill) McCormick, Ina (Craig) Johnson

Nephew: Jason Gross, nieces: Lindsay Gross, Amy (Scott) Gengler and great nephew: Benjamin Gross

Uncle: Peter (Millie) Weinberg,  family friends: James (Sharon Jandura) Queen and  Victoria Hawkins

Barbara was preceded in death by her parents John and Evelyn Hirsch, husband James Harkins, and niece Rebecca Berg

Private graveside services.

Friends may meet with the family on Monday January 2, 2017  from 4-8:00 pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue Griffith

Barbara graduated from William Wirt High School Class of 1966.  She also attended Northwood Institute in Midland, MI.
