Barbara A. Doppler, age 101, of Hammond, Indiana, passed away on Sunday, July 26, 2026.

Barbara is survived by her children, Charles (Rosie) Doppler Jr., Philip Doppler, and Maria Doppler; grandchildren, Alex (Samantha) Doppler, Nicholas Doppler, Elizabeth (Zack) Nasuta, and Danielle; great-grandchildren, Violet, Brantley, Giovani, Carson, and Jackson; and numerous nieces, nephews, great-nieces, and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry and Ellen Wieloch; husband, Charles Sr.; and siblings, Henry and Mary.

Barbara was a retired school teacher with the School City of Hammond. She was a longtime member of St. Casimir Catholic Church in Hammond. Barbara loved reading, playing the piano, and teaching CCD. She also volunteered for more than 20 years at Birthright in Hammond and tutored many young children throughout the years.

Friends may meet with Barbara's family on Thursday, July 30, 2026, at White Funeral Home (921 W. Glen Park Ave. Griffith, IN) from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 31, 2026, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic Church, (525 N. Broad Street, Griffith, Indiana) Entombment will follow at Holy Cross Cemetery in Calumet City, Illinois.
