Arthur "Art" F. Janovsky age 97 of Griffith passed away on Tuesday, July 15, 2014

He is survived by his wife of 66 years Eileen.

Children: Rose (Dennis) Colbert of Demotte, and Don (Vicki) Janovsky of Demotte.

9 grandchildren 15 great grandchildren

Numerous nieces and nephews

Preceded in death by his parents Anton and Rose Janovsky, daughter Wanda, sisters Rose (Walt) Spitz, Dorothy (Howard) Rainney, and Loretta Janvosky.

Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 18 ^th at 10:00am at St. Mary Catholic Church of Griffith located at 525 N. Broad Street, Griffith.

With Father Theodore Mens celebrating.

Burial will follow at Calumet Park Cemetery in Merrillville.

Friends may meet with the family on Thursday, July 17 ^th from 2:00pm-8:00pm, with a prayer service at 7:30pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45 ^th Avenue in Griffith.

Art was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church of Griffith, St. Mary Family Services, Isaak Walton, Griffith historical Society and Swinging Seniors.

Memorials may be given to the Historical Society or Isaak Walton League of Griffith in Art's memory.
