Annette F. Wood (nee Palinca) age 58 of Griffith passed away on Monday, May 8, 2017.

She is survived by her husband of 17 years David; daughters: Alisha (Vincent) Hernandez, Christa (Joseph) Soco; sons: Trevor and Tyler Wood; grandchildren: Alina, Drake, Maddox and Layla; mother: Jo Palinca; brothers: John (Sherri) Palinca Jr, David (Edi) Palinca, Michael Palinca, Thomas (Laura) Palinca and by her uncle Dennis (Marlene) McFarland.

Annette was preceded in death by her father John Palinca, and by her granddaughter Dakota Rae.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday May 13, 2017 at 10:00 am at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith with Pastor Scott Hobbs officiating.

Burial will follow at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville, IN.

Friends may meet with the family on Friday May 12, 2017 from 4-8:00 pm at White Funeral Home.

Annette graduated from Griffith High School Class of 1977.  She was a former softball player with Griffith Girls Softball.   She was a loving wife, mother, daughter and her grandchildren were her life.
