Anna Mae Jarrell (nee Zellers), age 88, of Florida, formerly of Griffith passed away on Tuesday September 17, 2013.

She is survived by her son Bruce (Sandy) Jarrell; grandchildren: Renée Jarrell, and Scott (Kimberly) Jarrell; step-grandchildren Tammy (Donnie) Johnson; Tracy (Chris) Anderson; six great grandchildren (Will, McKenzie, Bryce, Brooke, Tate, & Audrey); sisters: Barbara Keilman, and Sharon (William) Gall; brother: Carl "Bud" (Barbara) Zellers, and sister in law" Marilyn, and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband (Bill), her parents: Carl and Mary Zellers; sister, Carlene (Robert) Peifer; brother, John "Pete" Zellers; and great grandchild Cole Johnson.

Memorial services will be held on Monday, October 14, 2013 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Teresa of Avila, located at 1511 Laporte Ave, in Valparaiso, IN with Fr. Kevin McCarthy Celebrating.  Friends may meet with the family 30 minutes prior to the Mass, then immediately following Mass until 1:45 p.m. when we leave for the Cemetery.  Burial will be at 2:30 p.m. graveside at Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Anna Mae was an avid golfer, painter, and liked to play Bridge and board games.  She was loved by all who met her and leaves us with many precious memories.
