Allen L. Swanson age 51 of Munster passed away on Wednesday June 2nd, 2021.

He is survived by siblings; Sherry (Ray) Brownfield, Carl Swanson, Rose Mary (Mike) SwansonOgorek, Margie (Mike) Cowan, second mother Donna (Wayne) Crisp, nieces Marci (Adam) Haines, Michelle (Matt) Sheridan, Emily Cowan, Grace Cowan, great-nieces and nephews Andrew, Savannah, Lucas, Benjamin, Addison, Dylan, Ethan, life-long friends Robert and Carolyn Dutton, Darrel and Karen Hunt, Nick Furdick, and Ron Stahl

Memorial Services will be held on Tuesday June 8th, 2021, beginning at 11:00 AM at WHITE FUNERAL HOME located at 921 W. Glen Park Ave. (45th Ave.) Griffith with Pastor Stephen Sluder officiating.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday June 8th, 2021, from 10:00 am to 11:00 AM at WHITE FUNERAL HOME.

Allen was a truck driver for 20 plus years. He was an avid Fantasy Football fan, as well as a fan of the Washington Redskins, and Nascar Racing. He loved games and board games, especially Yahtzee and Monopoly.

Allen was considered "Uncle Al" to everyone that knew him. He had a big heart and was a friend to anyone he would meet.

Allen will be greatly missed by all those who knew and loved him.
