Adolph Flores Jr. age 63 of Porter, formerly of Griffith IN passed away on Sunday, July 28, 2013.  Adolph was a loving father, grandfather, brother and devoted son, loyal friend and diehard Bears fan. Adolph loved and lived life to its fullest; he was a hard worker and would lend a helping hand to anyone in need.

Adolph was born in East Chicago, IN on February 8, 1950. He graduated from Gavit High School and continued his education in the Technical field. He was involved in Politics and eventually became co-owner with his mother Carolina Flores of Pepe's Mexican Restaurant, in Griffith, IN, for over 30 years.

He enjoyed being involved in the coin club, bowling, golfing, scuba diving, singing karaoke, dancing and spending time with his friends and family. He was also actively involved in volunteering for many years in the lake county aquatics rescue squad. He was a dedicated member and former President of the Chamber of Commerce of Griffith, former President of Lake County ILBA.

Adolph was preceded in death by his father, Adolph Flores Sr. and is survived by his mother Carolina Flores, his three children, Elaine (Scott) Doctor, Jaime (Kevin) Babcock and Steven Flores. His siblings, Alan Flores, Leroy (Lydia) Flores, and Vickie (Stephen) Reuther. Grandchildren; Logan Kulinski, Megan Doctor, Andrew Doctor, Makylinn Doctor, Nolan Babcock & Hayden Babcock. Nephews and Nieces; Amy (Steve)Wigsmoen, Erica (Shane)Fields, Maria Flores, Leroy "Bubba" Flores II, Brianna Reuther and Kara Reuther, and by numerous Aunts Uncles and Cousins and Fiancé, Barbara "Bobbie" Turczi.

Funeral service will be held Saturday August 3, 2013 at 10:00AM at St. John Bosco Catholic Church located at 7113 Columbia Ave. in Hammond, IN, with Fr. Richard Orlinski celebrating. Burial will follow at Elmwood cemetery, in Hammond, IN.

Friends may meet with the family Friday August 2, 2013, from 3:00PM until 8:00PM at White Funeral Home, located at 921 W. 45 ^th Ave. in Griffith, IN.

In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to Adolph's children.
