Thomas J. Doppler age 81 of Florida, formerly of Griffith, passed away on Sunday December 17, 2017. He is survived by his children Naida Doppler, Kathy (Kenny Buzea) Bedell, Cindy (Dale) Daniels, Delores(Joel) Roper, Tom (Theresa) Doppler, John (Beth) Doppler, and  Carl (Maribel) Doppler; 18 grandchildren; 7great grandchildren; brother Chuck (Barbara) Doppler, and by his numerous nieces and nephews. Tom was preceded in death by his parents Fred C. and Leona Doppler, wife Melba, daughter Barbara, brother Fred, grandsons Austin and Tim, and by his son-in-law Clyde Bedell.

Funeral services will be held on Wednesday December 20, 2017 at 10:00am DIRECTLY at St. Mary Catholic Church located at 525 N. Broad St. in Griffith with Fr. Theodore Mens Celebrating. Cremation will follow the services. Friends may meet with family on Tuesday December 19th from 4-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Ave. in Griffith. Tom was the former owner of Fred C. Doppler and Sons Construction Co. and he was a member of St. Mary Catholic Church in Griffith. Tom was active with the Boy Scouts for over 20 years and he served on the Board of Directors for the Girl Scouts for many years.
