Lisa Marie Percak age 54 of Hammond passed away on Monday September 18, 2017 after a brief but brave battle with cancer.

She is survived by her brothers: Steven (late Patricia), Danny (Lisa), Martin, Bruce, and Sister in law; Sue, along with numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.

Lisa is preceded in death by her parents Leonard and Joan, and by her brother Patrick (late Jennifer). 

Funeral services will be held on Monday, September 25, 2017 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Catholic Church located at 5310 Holman Avenue in Hammond. 

Burial will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery in Calumet City, IL.

Friends may meet with the family on Sunday September 24, 2017 from 2-8:00 pm at WHITE FUNERAL HOME located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith. 

Lisa Graduated from Hammond High and received an Associate’s degree from Calumet College of St. Joseph. She worked for ATSI Engineering and Subway. She was a CCD teacher and most recently volunteered at St. Vincent De Paul Society at St. Joseph’s Church in Hammond, where she was a member, but most of her life she spent caring for others; being a caregiver for her parents. A big advocate for family, she enjoyed watching her nieces and nephews participate in their activities. Her kind heart and loving spirit will truly be missed by many. Her generosity lives on as she was a cornea donor through the Gift of Life.
