Frederick H. Rinehart

Frederick H. Rinehart age 89 of Monticello, formerly of Hammond passed away on Wednesday January 30th, 2019. He is survived by his daughters Kathy (Joe) Walczak, Carol Martin and Karen Summers; grandchildren Shawn Mincy, Fred, Jeff, Michelle Walczak, Lynsey (Chris) Auguano, Nathan Martin, Stephen (Christelle) Summers, John (Liz) Summers; great grandchildren Harlynn, Paige, Angel, Logan and Caedyn.

Frederick was preceded in death by his parents Isaac and Nellie Rinehart, his wife of 63 years Yvonne; son-in-law Michael Martin and Stephen Summers Sr.; siblings Butch and Dorwin (June) Rinehart.

Funeral services be on Tuesday, February 5th at 10:00am at  Chapel Lawn Memorial Gardens in Schererville.

Friends may meet with the family on Monday February 4, 2019 from 3:00-7:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue Griffith.

Frederick was an Army Veteran. He was the former owner of Lakeside Resort in Monticello, and former co-owner of R&R Autobody in Hammond. He was a member of the Moose Lodge #906 in Monticello, Indiana, and member of the ASC (Automotive Service Council), Charter member of the Monticello Lions Club, and VFW in Griffith. He was a racecar driver and Pit Stewart at Illiana Speedway.
