Trinette “Trina” Thurmond age 50 of Gary passed away on Thursday December 8, 2016.

She is survived by her daughter Catherine Thurmond, her four legged daughter Holly Elle Woods; siblings Tamara Thurmond, Steven (Shelia) Thurmond and Shannon (Krystal) Thurmond. She is also survived by her nieces Bridgette (Kathleen), Rachel, nephew Cody and uncle Patric Renk.

She was preceded in death by her mother Kathleen, her brothers Samuel, Shaun, Robert, and by her best friend Anthony “Tony” Kara.

Memorial Services will be held Tuesday, December 13th at 6:00pm at White Funeral Home with Deacon Michael Hallas officiating.

Friends may meet with the family on Tuesday December 13th from 5:00pm-8:00pm at White Funeral Home located at 921 W. 45th Avenue in Griffith

Trina was a member of American Legion Women’s Auxiliary and she loved to go to Lake Holiday.  

In Lieu of flowers, memorials may be given to Breast Cancer Awareness in Trina’s memory.
